Me. Penumbra's 24 Hour Book store

First off, let me say: I have a hard time with most "important" books. Anything that's been on the New York Times Best Seller List or Recommended by NPR takes me a minute. I can't help it. I love fluffy reading.

This book was Best Book of The Year by NPR. And I still loved it! Parts were slow moving but the story was so different and quirky and fun.

Clay Jannon is a fantastic protagonist. He's relatable. After a few missteps and in desperate need of employment, he ends up working the night shift at a strange bookstore with a secret.

The plot twist keep you interested and it really is a great story.
